Thanks too Rhosie for your comforting words. Mariel was someone special and I'd live my life now telling the world what a truly good wife and mother she was to us.

Take care and all the best to you always.

Dear Jan,

Thank you for sharing this beautiful poem. It indeed sums up what I feel for Mariel. She was a beautiful person. And I'd like to shout to the world how much I love her and wished that many more would have known her.

Thank you for being a part of us. Blessings to you always.

Warm regards,

Bong

It is truly a beautiful photo Bong, the love shines from you both. And I do believe that love goes beyond death, and marriage can go beyond death too. There is a poem you may be familiar with that fits this beautiful post you wrote:

HOW DO I LOVE THEE? LET ME COUNT THE WAYS .... By Elizabeth Barrett Browning (1806-1861)

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of everyday's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love thee with a passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints, --- I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life! --- and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.

Yes Writinggb, this was a picture from our wedding day in 1998. We both decided to have it at Promthep Cape in Phuket, Thailand. Under a tree, facing the sea and a brave new world ahead.

I guess it must be the adventurous and romantic part of us kicking in. You can see a bit more of our dream wedding in my January 8 post.

Thanks and warm regards.

What a beautiful photograph. Was that on your wedding day? When did you marry? Mariel is so beautiful, truly radiant with love and joy. You must miss her so much, even though she's with you evermore.

Thanks for the kind words Albert. You've seen our unique love story and I'm sure you'd agree with a lot of what I've said especially the "utter lack of it" part.

We both love our wives but sometimes we, you know just forget how precious they are while preoccupied with the daily grind. Well in my case this is the least I can do for Mariel who had loved me beyond my comprehension.

Take care and give my love to Susie and the kids too.

All the best,

Bong
